The Mill Bank book club has been meeting since 2010 with a membership of between ten to sixteen people.
Covid sent us onto Zoom which has continued, as some of our faithful members now live outside the village. However, every few months we choose a book with a film and meet to watch the film and enjoy the company.
Books include popular authors and established classics and are chosen by members. New members are always welcome.
The club have read over 100 books, ranging from popular authors to established classics and modern novels (usually courtesy of the library service).
It’s always good fun, and as well as extending our knowledge of books it’s a good way of meeting new people. The group usually meets on the last Thursday of each month.
